June 6, 2018 Rally Point Management, LLC (RPM) is seeking a SOF Joint Fires Specialist to join our Joint SOF Development, Training and Education team.

Background:

The US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Directorate of Joint Special Operations Forces (SOF) Development (JSD), J7 Training and Education Division (J7 T&E) provides timely delivery of focused training solutions to SOF. This is accomplished through facilitating the validation of training requirements and resources, training plan development and coordination of SOF Joint Fires Cell (SJFC) training support coordinated through the SOF Training Support Center (STSC).

RPM provides J7 T&E with knowledgeable contractors that have experience in Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) and Joint Fires Observer (JFO) procedures to conduct Call for Fire (CFF) operations in combat environments.

SOF Joint Fires Specialists,

Provide support for effective training, orientation, and familiarization for ground personnel to conduct fire support and emergency CAS procedures. Educate JTACs on the capabilities associated with the AC-130 gunship and other SOF aviation assets’ Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).

Integrate AC-130 gunship crew interface with JTAC trainees replicating USSOCOM approved TTPs.

Support AC-130 gunship proficiency, incorporating updates to the corresponding gunship TTPs.

Produce and maintain grade sheets for all CAS controls for uniform services’ JTAC/SOTAC/TACP/JFO personnel to stay qualified.

Participate in scenarios as a JTAC to provide quality control for basic scenarios through full mission profile events. Provide recommendations to database modelers and virtual model architects to adjust entities to better improve scenario performance.

Minimum Qualifications:

Prior Active Duty SOF within the past 5 years (O-3 to O-5 or E-7 to E-8).

12 years of Special Operations experience.

6 years’ experience as an AC-130 crewmember (Pilot, Navigator, Fire Control Officer, or Sensor Operator) and knowledge of current SOF approved TTPs and airframe capabilities in conducting CFF support.

6 years’ experience in joint operations, with tactical and operational-level SOF planning.

3 years’ experience in using modeling & simulation software to train and exercise SOF personnel in a virtual environment.

Active security clearance at or above Secret.

Travel: Less than 25%.

Special Operations Assault Zone (SOAZ) Controllers (Clovis, NM) A. Harold and Associates, LLC is seeking experienced Special Operations Assault Zone (SOAZ) Controllers to provide designated team support duties. The position is located in Clovis, NM at Cannon Air Force Base.

QUALIFICATIONS, ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The SOAZ Controllers contract is looking for experienced, trained, and certified Special Operations Assault Zone personnel to schedule, coordinate and control assault zones at Cannon AFB (CAFB), Melrose Air Force Range (MAFR), and other deployment locations as determined by the government.

Specific requirements include:

• Contractor personnel shall have a minimum of four (4) years of experience in Air Force Specialty Code 1C2X1, P273X0, or P272X0D in the performance of LZC/DZC duties as outlined in AFI 13-217, Chapters 2 and 3, and shall have satisfactorily completed USAF Combat Control Operator Course, with proof of graduation provided with proposal via DD Form 214 or equivalent experience

• Current and documented FAA Class II medical physical• Contract personnel shall manage resources to perform customer’s requirements, and draft required reports and deliverables

• Contractor personnel shall maintain the physical capabilities to perform the duties listed in the contract PWS and be able to safely lift and carry at least fifty (50) pounds on unprepared surfaces.

• All contractor personnel shall be required to handle and deploy munitions such as smoke grenades, and identify, investigate and report hazards affecting team operations to appropriate levels

• Contractor personnel shall be proficient in land navigation/map, compass and GPS skills sufficient to read and locate specific positions using various methods.

• Proof of graduating from the Survey and Assault Zone Assessment (SAAZA) course (Course # L3AZP1C251 0C1A) desired

• All contractor personnel shall be able to read, write, speak, and understand English and possess a valid civilian driver’s license

• Contract personnel shall have a minimum of a secret Government security clearance to perform services under this contract.
