Posting from Ken Rodriguez CCA LM#342 CCS 1991-2
Dear CCA – Need your help to get the word out to the Combat Control Community — a colleague of mine from the SF community (and a veteran from Special Tactics) has offered an opportunity for combat controllers transitioning from either active or guard service into the civilian sector to participate in a dinner event to learn from, network and socialize with business leaders who are actively involved in hiring veterans. The event is a dinner at the Emerald Grand in Destin on 16 Oct. (Guest speaker is retired SEAL Rob O’Neill.) Interested parties should be active duty or full time reservists/guardsmen within 12-15 months of their planned/known transition date, or within one year post-transition from service. If interested, contact Dan Hendrix ASAP as slots are going fast — at 850-737-4475 / firstname.lastname@example.org .
